About me
I have a strong desire to make a huge difference for those that can't understand the English language in any manner. I want to be able to not only improve myself as a person by enhancing my skills in this type of field but also by feeling good knowing that I am helping others around the world. I wholeheartedly wish to do just that by translating any text that is foreign to the reader or viewer to their language.

EXPERIENCE
October 2018 – Current
Volunteer Subtitler/Reviewer, TED Team
As a volunteer subtitler/reviewer for TED, I select the tasks that are available in languages I specialize in. I accept tasks for videos in all variations of the English, Spanish and French language. Most videos average 15 minutes in content. I use the Amara Editor to translate, synchronize, subtitle, review and submit the video tasks. The video is sent to the Reviewer, the subtitled content will be reviewed for grammar, punctuation and adequate translation. The reviewed video is then sent to the Language Coordinator of each respective language. The Language Coordinator reviews the video and approves the video for publishing.
June 2015 – August 2015
Volunteer Translator, Digital Leisure
As a volunteer translator for Digital Leisure, I was selected to work with a team volunteers to translate in-game content. Each member of the team was assigned to translate several pages of text from English to Spanish.
Key Achievements: The content I assisted in translating is available when the Spanish Language option is selected for the game 4 Kings Casino.
August 2008 – June 2009
Student, ROP CAD
I learned how to create 2-D models using the program Architectural Series 3000 for some of the projects we were assigned such as constructing a 2-D model of our high school campus and inanimate objects.
Pro Engineer Wildfire 4.0 was another program that I had to chance to work with which involved constructing 3-D models of houses as well as other objects such as having created our own push and pull toy for a child.
